How billing works

DeepScan has no subscriptions or pricing plans: you keep money on your balance, and you are charged only for domains that are actually checked — at the price of the section where the task was started.

How it works

1. On sign-up, a starting credit is added to your balance — $2 by default; the amount is set by the service administrator. It is enough to try every type of check.
2. After that, the balance is topped up by one of the available methods — by card, with cryptocurrency, or by a request to the administrator (a request has its own minimum) — see Topping up the balance.
3. Before you start, the header of the task creation dialog shows the total: $Y — the amount that will be deducted from your balance for the whole list. Next to it is a discount pill ("−N%") if you have one; in a free section the amount is replaced with "Free".
4. You are charged for each actually processed domain. Stopped a task halfway — you only pay for the processed part.

Current per-section prices are on the Pricing page. A section may be marked "Free" — checks in it do not deduct money.

What you are charged for

• A checked domain — charged at the price of the section where the task was started.
• A domain that failed your selection conditions (the "Filtered out" tab) — charged as well: the check on it was performed, and the price is the same as for a domain that passed.
• A domain that ended with an error — not charged.

If you do not have enough funds

• If the available amount does not cover the whole task, starting it is still allowed: the amount in the header of the task creation dialog is highlighted in red with the label "top up your balance", money is charged as each domain is processed, and when it runs out the task is paused and resumes after a top-up.
• Starting is blocked only if the available amount is not enough even for one domain: the creation dialog closes and an "Insufficient funds" dialog appears with a "Top up balance" button.
• The reserve for tasks already in progress is counted too: available amount = balance minus the cost of their unprocessed domains.
• If money runs out during a task, it is paused, the results are saved, and after a top-up the task resumes automatically from where it stopped.
• When the balance drops below the reminder threshold — set by the administrator, $5 by default — the amount on the balance page is highlighted in yellow and you get a reminder to top up (at most once a day).
