Discounts and promo codes

The "Discounts and promo code" block on the balance page shows your active personal discounts and accepts promo codes.

Discount types

• Discount on checks — permanent or temporary, for all sections or specific ones ("indefinite" or "until a date").
• Top-up bonus — one-time: "+N% for your next top-up".
• Own API key discount — checks are cheaper when they run on your own key (except the "Domain history" section). It is not shown in the "Discounts and promo code" block: its percentage is visible on the "API connection" page in the "Ahrefs API" card — on the "Use my Ahrefs key (−N% on checks)" toggle. The default is 50%, but the administrator can set a different percentage. See Own API key.

Promo code

1. Enter the code in the "Promo code" field and click "Apply".
2. The response appears immediately: "Promo code accepted: N% discount" or "Promo code accepted: +N% for your next top-up". An invalid code shows "Promo code not accepted".
