Tasks and folders

The Result page is your task control center. The "Tasks (N)" button opens a menu of all tasks grouped into folders.

Task header

• Task name and its number #ID — next to it is a copy icon: the number is handy to quote when contacting support.
• Status: "Running", "Queued", "Waiting for top-up", "Stopping", "Stopped", "Cancelled", "Error". A completed task has no status — that is the default state.
• "Waiting for top-up" is not a stop but a pause: your balance ran out or your own API key stopped working.
  • The results already obtained are saved; you will not be charged for them again.
  • The task resumes on its own from where it left off once you top up your balance (or once the key works again). See Errors and pauses for details.
• N domains — the task size, and the timer — how long processing has taken.
• "$X charged" — how much has been charged for the task. The tooltip spells it out: "Charged from balance for this task: $X for N domains"; if nothing was charged — "Nothing was charged from your balance for this task".
• Buttons on the right: "Stop" (for queued and running tasks; while the task is stopping it is replaced by an inactive "Stopping…"), the trash icon (tooltip "Delete task") and the down-arrow icon (tooltip "Download Excel") — it appears once the task has at least one result.

Folders

• The "Tasks" menu is arranged top to bottom: first your root folders, then the system folders of the sections — "Link check", "Site DR", "Domain history", "Domain selection" — and at the very bottom the "Shared access" block with folders that have been shared with you.
• Your own folder is created with the "Create folder" icon in the menu header: a name and a "Location" — "Root" or one of the four sections.
• A task can be moved to another folder with the icon next to its row. The "Restart" icon is only available for tasks that ended with an error or were stopped ("Error", "Stopped"); a restart is a new paid run.
• You can delete your own folder, but all tasks inside it and their results are deleted along with it — the confirmation dialog warns you about this.
