Shared access
How to share a task folder with another user
You can share a folder of tasks with another DeepScan user — for example, to hand finished results to a client or to work as a team.
Granting access
- Create your own folder with the "Create folder" icon, choosing "Root" as the location: the "Share folder" icon appears only for root-level user folders — neither the system section folders nor folders created inside a section have it.
- Click that folder in the Tasks menu — it expands and becomes selected, and the "Share folder" icon appears in the menu header. Click it.
- In the "Share folder access" window, check the "Folder to share" list — it lists all your folders, with the selected one already filled in.
- Specify the recipient in the "User email, phone, or ID" field.
- Tick the permissions: "Allow starting and restarting tasks", "Allow deleting tasks from the folder".
- Click "Share access".
- The "Manage access" icon appears in the menu header for the same selected folder once access to it has been granted: it shows who has access and lets you revoke it.
- The recipient sees the folder in their own Tasks menu — in the "Shared access" block, marked with who shared it — and can leave it on their own with the "Leave shared folder" icon.
ScreenshotShare folder access window: highlight the "Folder to share" list, the recipient field, and the permission checkboxes.
Without granted permissions the recipient can only view results — they will not be able to start or delete tasks.
