The "Link selection", "Thresholds" and "Output" groups

Link selection

Each row is enabled with a checkbox; a disabled row shows a dash instead of a value.

Link limit	How many links to return per domain (1–1000, default 15). The higher the limit, the more expensive the check. The row is not present with every metrics source.

Thresholds

A table with "count" and "traffic" columns across the rows Traffic, EDU, GOV, UNI, AC, BEST LINK. Set minimum link requirements here: for example, only count referring sites with traffic of at least N, or require links from EDU domains.

An enabled BEST LINK row adds a column of the same name to the results and to the Excel export — the number of links that passed the best links filter.

Some conditions are mandatory. If they are not met, the "Start" button in the task creation window opens a "Warning" window and the task is not created: the "Period" row must stay enabled; at least one row in the "Thresholds" group must be enabled — Traffic, EDU, GOV, UNI, AC or BEST LINK (all are disabled by default, so a task cannot be created with untouched conditions); the enabled "Traffic", EDU, GOV, UNI and AC rows need a "count" or "traffic" value greater than zero, and an enabled "DR, from" condition needs a value greater than zero.

If "Link types" and/or "Grouping" are disabled, the application asks "Use default values?" and, on the "Continue" button, substitutes "Types: All" and "Group: One link per domain".

Output

The group has a single row — "Link quality": all links, only the best, non-spam, or only low-quality. The same drop-down list has an extra item, "Link settings…", which is not available with every metrics source. See the Link quality section for details.
