Connect to DeepScan
Connecting the spreadsheet in your account: the link, the test, what the card shows and how to disconnect
Where to find it
The user menu in the header of your account → "API connection" → the "Google Sheets" card. On the right of the card header is its state: "Connected", "Not connected" or "Unavailable".
The "Unavailable" state means the service account is not set up on the service side: the card shows the message "The Google service account is not configured on the server. Contact the administrator.", and until that is fixed a spreadsheet cannot be connected.
Connecting
- Click "Connect" in the card header. If a spreadsheet is already connected, the button is called "Change".
- Paste the full spreadsheet address into the "Spreadsheet link" field.
- Make sure the spreadsheet is shared — the hint under the field, "Give Editor access to", shows the service account address with a copy button, and the "How?" button opens the step-by-step instructions. For details, see Prepare the spreadsheet.
- Click "Test". If everything is fine, a green banner with the message "Connection successful" and the name of your spreadsheet appears under the field; on an error the banner is red and states the reason.
- Click "Save" — the "Google Sheets settings saved" notification arrives. The "Cancel" button closes the form without changing anything.
The test only confirms that the service can see the spreadsheet. It will be able to write results into it only with the "Editor" role: with the "Viewer" role the test passes but the export fails.

What the card shows after connecting
- "Service account" — the address the spreadsheet is shared with, with a copy button.
- "Spreadsheet" — the identifier of the connected spreadsheet and the "Open spreadsheet" button: it opens the spreadsheet in a new browser tab.
- The state in the card header changes to "Connected" — from that moment the results of finished tasks go to the spreadsheet automatically, no separate export button is needed.
Domains that failed the filters
Once a spreadsheet is connected, the "Skip domains that failed filters" toggle appears in the card. It is on by default.

The setting is shared: it applies to the export of all sections — Domain selection, Link check, Site DR, Domain history. If it looks like not all checked domains made it into the spreadsheet, start by checking this toggle.
How to disconnect the spreadsheet
- In the card header, click the trash icon — its tooltip is "Disconnect".
- Confirm in the "Disconnect spreadsheet" window with the "Disconnect" button.
Results will stop being exported to the spreadsheet, but the spreadsheet itself is not affected: the data already written stays in place, and you can connect it again at any time.
