Terms and tiers
Rates, reward models, and tiers
What your income is made of
- A percentage of first top-up spending — of what the referral spends on checks within the amount of their first top-up.
- A percentage of later top-up spending (rev-share) — of spending above the first top-up; for the first N months after the first payment or indefinitely, per the program terms.
- Activation bonus — a fixed amount in $ for the referral's first action (shown only if it is set for your tier).
- Second tier — a percentage from your referrals' referrals (if enabled by the administrator).
- An alternative is the CPA model: a fixed $ amount per referred client, credited once their top-ups reach the threshold (percentages are not accrued in this model).
Tiers
The "Terms" tab ("Terms and levels") shows your current rates and the path to the next tier. The "Your rates" panel shows the percentages (or the fixed amount in the CPA model) for your tier specifically, and next to it is "To level '…'" with two progress bars: "Paying referrals" and "Referral revenue"; either threshold counts — you do not need to reach both. The higher the tier, the higher the rates: they change automatically when you move up. The administrator can also set individual terms — in that case they do not change when your tier goes up. At the highest tier, the bars are replaced by "This is the highest level". There is no full table of all tiers in your account.
Further down the same tab are the "Program rules" (hold, minimum payout request amount, referral attribution period, "First click") with a "Full rules" link if the administrator has set one, the "FAQ" card and — if the administrator has enabled the leaderboard — "Top affiliates" with anonymized names and rounded amounts.
- The percentage is based on spending, not top-ups: a referral topped up 100 $ and spent 40 $ — you get a percentage of 40 $. The balance left over does not count until it is spent, and a refund of an unused balance does not affect accruals.
- The bonus is accrued after the referral confirms their email and completes their first action; the percentage — at the moment of a charge for a check; CPA — once the referral's top-ups reach the threshold.
- CPA accruals are kept on hold for a few days — this protects against refunds; the percentage of spending is available right away.
- You cannot leave the program yourself from your account: only the administrator can disable your participation and reinstate you.
- Participation is disabled automatically if, over the period set by the administrator (2 months by default), your links and promo codes brought no clicks, no new referrals and no payments. What you have earned remains available for withdrawal, and you can return by submitting the application again — the decision is once more up to the administrator.
